Today I would like to talk with you about surveys when buying a home. A survey can be provided by the Seller if they have one. The Buyer or Seller can order a survey and negotiate who pays for it in the contract. A survey isn't generally required unless the Title Company or Lender requires it. There are different types of surveys. Make sure you understand the differences when ordering. It is very important to have an agent who understands the nuances of properties on acreage.
